Lamborghini Huracan LP 580 Spyder

Curvy Road’s rear-wheel-drive, LP 580-2 Spyder is powered by a naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V10 that makes around 580 horsepower. As a rear-drive car, it’s lighter than its all-wheel-drive counterpart, with better balance, and the pushbutton convertible top lets in the sunshine to enhance the already amazing Huracán driving experience.

In the default Strada drive mode, it’s comfortable and handles bumps reasonably well. Forward visibility is great. The steering is relatively light, though still direct, and with both hands on the wheel, the extremely responsive steering is a significant part of the experience. Switch the drive mode to Sport or Corsa, and everything gets sharper. The shifting is crisper, whether in manual or auto mode, and the steering feels great and has even greater feedback.

The front-end hydraulic lift system is extremely helpful for steep driveways and speedbumps. But, the thing it’s really made for – driving, on a beautiful day, on some open, curvy roads - is where the Huracan shines. The sound of the engine as you shift (or as it shifts itself in auto mode) is remarkable and is not something easy to describe. It has to be experienced.

The 12.3-inch Lamborghini Virtual Cockpit Info & Entertainment System, has a driving mode, a visual-hybrid mode and an information mode. All three are easy to use and intuitive. The sound system in this exotic is uncharacteristically good.

Besides the very legit supercar looks, the matte silver factory finish, and the well-appointed interior, the experience of driving the Huracan Spyder is nothing short of sensational.
